Yeah, that would be a big benefit — no need to set up anything more than a little HTML change at your own website, Dreamwidth would then vouch for you and take care of the sign-in script and communicating with the server you're logging into via OpenID. It's transparent, too — you'll be identified as coming from your own website, point final, no "brought to you by Dreamwidth" (or whoever you're delegating to).
